HOW TO WEAR IT
On a visionary quest for beauty, it was Kokichi Mikimoto\’s dream to adorn the necks of all women around the world with pearls. Elegant women worldwide have risen up to the challenge, entranced by the mysterious gems of the sea. For a sophisticated, modern event, each piece reflects supreme dedication, passion and care.
ADDED VALUE
When we think of pearls, I believe that our musing takes us to feel: delicacy, fragility, nature, light, perfection, and purity. Mikimoto Kōkichi, obtained a loan in 1888 to start his first pearl oyster farm at the Shinmei inlet on Ago Bay in Mie, with his wife and partner Ume; the rest is history reaching until our days. Doesn\’t matter the century or the time, @mikimoto_official topic has been always the \”Pearl\”. Today Mikimoto has their competition and I must say they are excellent ones, at home (#japan) and abroad, but the first one to master the artistic work with the pearl and take it to the next level in business and design was/is Mikimoto. The Pearl shine like satin, a perfectly round shape balancing in the space in one strand together, like a rope of dewdrops after the rain. Mikimoto designs pass from the abstract form of a free fall and patterns of perfect nacre shapes, #sparkling like little moons in different colors, until capturing the eternal dewdrops: in the spider net, in the dandelion, in the #grass, in the leaf or the flower; giving a false sense of motionlessness, representing, forever moments of pain, suffering for ones, or solid success unlimited in scope or duration for others. In the end, remember that pearls are iridescent, having always the beginning of a universe light on their surface, which goes to the highest level in Mikimoto designs. Is not me the one telling you this……is history.
