JEWELRY DESIGNER

Irene Neuwirth is a jewelry designer from Los Angeles. Her love affair with art and color was sparked at an early age by her bohemian painter mother, while her business-minded father taught her the principles of entrepreneurship. She began experimenting with jewelry design after college, stringing glass beads, mixing precious and semiprecious stones together without pretense or plan. Soon, she found herself inundated with requests for her one-of-a-kind pieces. In 2003, Irene Neuwirth Jewelry was born.

HOW TO WEAR IT

With her main inspiration as the sea, Irene Neuwirth’s jewelry creations often represent its key elements of purity, power, and color. Signature trademarks of her jewelry are her use of organic, unmanufactured gem cuts and vibrant colors. balance.

The caring in the balance of the construction of the necklace and how the parts between gems will look, how the whole piece moves together, is a whimsical and structured collage.

ADDED VALUE

A chromatic circle is an abstract illustration of color hues around a circle, which shows the relationships between primary colors, secondary colors, tertiary colors, etc. But the chromatic circle from a musical standing point of view represents the melodic distance between semitones moving up and down in clockwise, and this process can be played on an instrument. Color harmony refers to the property of certain combinations or contrast of color to be aesthetically pleasing; but musical harmony involves the construction of chords, and the progression and connection of these chords, give context or support to a melody: a musically satisfying sequence of notes. It would be too far to say that color and music flow together? When our eyes see color we can feel the music, and when we hear the music we can see colors? It\’s not amazing that maybe somebody it\’s able to transform through the gems and metals, music into jewelry? For me, the creation of @ireneneuwirth is like watching a music visualizer and maybe the melody of her creations depends on the harmony chords of the woman who wears it.
