JEWELRY DESIGNER

It was an evening in a small chalet in the Swiss mountains when Beniamino Crocco started to think and dream about a new kind of jewelry. Looking to a classic boule de siege, to the magic of the flashes of light and the thousand reflections, his imagination ran to precious metals, to a ring with a dream to wear. The result is today\’s Dreamboule, new craftsmanship, detail, and precision that has created a jewel enhancing imaginative scenarios and putting them under glass as if to protect them from the wear and tear of time. Here the inspiration involves the watchmaking experience and imagination becomes research and technological development.

Today the designer Beniamino Crocco continues the story of pioneering innovation to surprise the universe of luxury. Gold, diamonds, and precious stones are combined into caucciù, titanium, sapphire crystal, and secret liquid solutions. The synergy between poetic high jewelry changing preserved over time with high tech at once allows the story of innovation to continue.

The place for experiments and design is the Dreamboule Laboratory in Brera, where each creation is hand-assembled by a coordinated team of master watchmakers, goldsmiths, and chemists.
Combining fine watchmaking, and high goldsmithing with the alchemy of liquids, Dreamboule upgrades the world of high-in jewelry through the revolutionary vision of the Fusion of Arts.

HOW TO WEAR IT

The Swiss Made cabochon of Dreamboule has a double function: it aesthetically highlights the poetry that holds and protects it thanks to the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Robustness, correct distortion index, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective are the essential qualities of the domed sapphire crystal that required numerous tests before reaching perfection.  Particular exceptional care is taken regarding the sourcing of the rough stones. The high-quality cut of multicolored natural sapphires of very generous dimensions (from 31 to 46 carats), faceted and cabochon are uncommon in the current jewelry world. Each stone evokes a different context for the scenery.

Each Dreamboule ring contains delicate golden flakes or gold dust that create an iconic movement effect within the sapphire cabochon.  Two additional processing steps are required for the preparation of gold powder. The alloy of paillettes and Poudre is in 24K gold. When all components are assembled, the possibilities acquire their own life and the dream of \’Ben\’ comes true, with movements, forms, and timeless stories.

Dreamboule creations feature double waterproofness. Not only, as in Swiss watchmaking, but liquids also must not infiltrate the luxurious container. But also and mostly, liquids must not go out. The waterproofness is ensured by fitted screws and gaskets in white, black, and red cable, specially designed to 100% seal the Dreamboule dreamy worlds within the jewel. Each creation passes a waterproof test at 3 ATM.

Each component is reunited in the laboratory of Brera, the place where they have been imagined and conceived, to be assembled by hand. The assembly is a highly technological stage and requires standardized processes extremely similar to watchmaking manufacturers.

Who said that surreal is not real? The elaborated and small worlds inspired by our real world, or by our feelings and emotions have a touch of surrealism and dreams. In the world of Dreamboule dreams are sometimes encapsulated in small crystals in the form of rings. Small crystal balls that remind us that magic not only exists but can be felt, be touched, and be real when there is effort, dedication, and passion for what is done.
