JEWELRY DESIGNER

Frédéric Boucheron, founded the Maison Boucheron in 1858.
Boucheron was a family business; after the death of its founder Frédéric Boucheron in 1902, his descendants took over the business. In 1994, the family business shifted to a more global approach with its selling out to Schweizerhall.

To this day, the Boucheron jewelry house is known for its intricate, free spirited style. Boucheron\’s designs are always creative and display outstanding French craftsmanship and characterful stones.

HOW TO WEAR IT

Hiver Impérial collection was inspired by the snowy wilderness of Northern Russia.
Winter in the verses of Russian poets is described with splendor as if the queen herself the kingdom of the winter and the mistress of snowstorms and blizzards, fetters, and beckons with her beauty and majesty.
Nature is hidden and sleeps, hiding under a snow-white veil, while winter unleashed the forces of wind and frost, shackling all-natural the world into icy fetters as everybody will see when you use these rings.

ADDED VALUE

…and for the last month of 2018, Ines Arenas have chosen as the engagement ring for December 2018 the Boule de Neige Ring from the Hiver Impérial Collection of Boucheron. It\’s a ring set with a rock crystal dome filled with diamonds, paved with diamonds, on white gold. Why? Kahlil Gibran said: \”Kindness is like the snow, it beautifies everything it covers\”. And this is the feeling that I have when I see this ring of kindness. If we see it carefully, we will appreciate that it\’s solid and firm as the materials that compose it but at the same time has the beauty, fragility, and vulnerability of a snowflake. The crystal quartz it\’s so well carved that it looks like little snowflakes are setting for dance in happiness and love forever in a so impeccable and impolite white that calls us to keep in our minds just the happy memories of a year, a marriage, or a life together with that special person. The Boule de Neige might look like an oversized set for an engagement ring, maybe too round and too boule, but let\’s stop and think: it\’s not true that this ring holds a special meaning for that special person for that special moment. It\’s not true that we can see reflected in this beautiful quartz surrounded by diamonds the perfect ingredient for a perfect beginning: Innocence! which bears witness to the love and commitment between two people.
Would you choose this style of ring as your engagement ring?
